Engineering consulting for AI, industrial, and quantitative systems.
Blanc Quant Services is the consulting and delivery arm that funds and feeds Blanc Quant Systems. Three service lines, each mapped to practitioner experience rather than a generic AI playbook: data and AI transformation, industrial and energy intelligence, and technical due diligence.
Fixed-scope engagements · written findings · reproducible artifacts
Three lanes, one engineering standard.
AI & Data Transformation
Move from pilots and spreadsheets to measured, governed systems.
Data model and pipeline design, evaluation harnesses for AI features, and validation gates that hold once the engagement ends. Delivered against your existing stack rather than a rebuild.
- Data and telemetry architecture review
- AI use-case selection, scoping, and kill criteria
- Evaluation harness plus regression thresholds in CI
- Handover documentation and reproducible artifacts
Industrial & Energy Intelligence
Operational data turned into decisions on plant, grid, and asset problems.
Grounded in utilities, standards, procurement, and industrial operations: forecasting and load analytics, asset and reliability modelling, sensor and SCADA data quality, and instrumentation of the process before any model is trusted.
- Load, demand, and generation analytics
- Asset reliability and maintenance prioritisation
- Sensor / SCADA / historian data quality remediation
- Standards, procurement, and specification support
Technical Due Diligence & Strategic Advisory
An independent read on whether a system or claim survives inspection.
Diligence for investors, acquirers, and boards on AI, quantitative, and industrial technology: what is actually built, what the benchmarks really show, where the technical and key-person risk sits, and what it costs to make it production-grade.
- Architecture, code, and benchmark verification
- Performance and reliability claim reproduction
- Team, dependency, and key-person risk assessment
- Written findings for investment or board committees
The rare combination is the offer.
- Quantitative engineering practice, not slideware — every recommendation ships with something runnable or measurable.
- Domain fluency in utilities, energy, standards, procurement, R&D, and industrial operations, which generalist AI consultancies do not carry.
- Findings written down, including what we advise against.
- Anything we claim about performance, we reproduce on request.
Jean Max Blanc — engineer and AI systems architect: senior quantitative engineering in regulated utility operations (Exelon / PECO) and industrial R&D (ABB / Thomas & Betts).
Electrical standards work across NFPA, IEEE, NEMA, and UL, plus C++20 deterministic-replay systems engineering.
Scope, then evidence, then build.
30 minutes on the system, the decision it supports, and the constraint you are actually against.
Fixed-scope review of the system, data, and claims, delivered as written findings.
Either we implement the priority items with your team, or we hand the plan over.
Where the work is repeatable, it graduates onto the BQS platform side.
Consulting delivery is contracted through Blanc Quant Services — blancquantservices.com
Enough about cost to qualify yourself in or out.
This is not a price list. It is the shape of how work is contracted, so you can tell before a call whether the scale fits.
One system, defined deliverable, defined timeline. Priced as a fixed fee agreed before work starts — no open-ended discovery.
Most advisory and build engagements land in this range depending on system count, data access, and whether we implement alongside your team.
Ongoing gating, drift detection, and sealed evidence are licensed on an annual subscription, sized to systems under validation.
Final scope and fee are confirmed in writing after the scoping call. If the work is smaller than an assessment, or larger than we should take on, we say so on that call.
